Poonthalir district Women Federation and district Fisheries Solidarity handed over the Petition.

 

Poonthalir district women federation and Jaffna district fisheries Solidarity handed over a petition to Pointpedro, Thllippalai and Uduvil divisional secretaries and Jaffna district secretary in Jaffna on IDP issues and issues of resettlement people. Pointpedro divisional Secretary  said that, “We will follow your petition and we will organize some program for on those people. But President and central government have to release the land.” Jaffna Difso and NAFSO staff members facilitated the dialogue between community members and the government officials on this work.
