Poonthalir district women federation in Jaffna

 Poonthalir district women federation conducted by district committee on 24th of October 2019 .It was discussed about fisheries issues. Specially Fisher women issues ,  current flood situation in the camp , (they want have enough foods , they faced different diseases because of rain ) and resettlement issues.Since 1990 They displaced their origin place ,( Now they are living 16 IDP Camps ) current political situation finding the members decide that hand over the proposal to president candidate about resettlement issues and fisheries issues.write  letter to District secretary and Divisional secretary . Following request

   *Divisional secretary want to provide flood foodstuff to IDP Camps

   * Government officers(Health Officers) should be conduct  Mobile health clinic for IDP Camps

   * Government officers(predasa saba )should be supply Drinking water to IDP Camps

20 members , District coordinator, Animators, North East project coordinator, and  Women coordinator participated. Meeting held at agriculture college maruthanarmadam Jaffna
