"Valarpirai" District women Committee and District Committee meeting

 

Mannar Valarpirai District women group meeting held at Difso office, Mannar. On 25th  of October 2019. Here our women group discuss about some essential issues and social needs of their village people. And they brought following issues in Mannar district 

1. The incomplete housing scheme and the impact of it

2. Drinking water deficient in some village in Musali

3. Lack of road renovations

4. Inefficient drainage system and flooding

5. Ineffectiveness of fire service in Mannar

And other some common social needs.

And our women prose some actions for above issues and they as follow

1. Preparing petition and sending to relevant official

2. Meeting with Additional Director of Disaster Management center Mannar to discuss about disaster situations and handing over a petitions.
